Recycled Aluminium Hooks

Jonas Bergfeldt’s Mama wall hook is a characterful hook which gives a warm welcome with its open arms. Mama has been awarded the ‘Outstanding Swedish Design’ prize and has been commended at several international shows.

Aluminium can be recycled endlessly without losing quality. This was the inspiration for the hook Endless, made in recycled aluminium – of course. The hook, designed by Anna von Schewen, has two loops that are joined together, hiding the mounting and creating a seamless ribbon. The larger loop is perfect to put your sweater or jacket on. Just as with Gloria, its round shape doesn’t create any marks on the garment.

When Joel Karlsson was asked to design a new hook, he thought about how to modify the traditional coat hook to stop garments without hangers from getting a ‘hook mark’ in the back. “We wanted to create a product that ‘spares’ the garment the same way a hanger does,” says Karlsson about his innovative hook provided with a halo. The Gloria is the most functional of our hooks and can substitute for a hat rack where there is no room in the hallway for a large piece of furniture. You can several jackets on it, put your gloves and cap behind, and use a hanger too.
